Nevertheless, with the use of the large shared pool, it is also easy to socialise with the other guests, making the exchange of tips about restaurants and outings a good way to meet new friends.

My partner, Daniele and I had the pleasure of having an extended winter stay at Azienda Mastrocolla. Our fashionable apartment, Il Verdicchio, was simply lovely, tastefully decorated with high ceilings, tons of light and fully equipped with all the amenities. From the master bedroom on the second floor, the morning view over the swimming pool with the Sibillini Mountains in the distance was sufficient to make you fall in love with the location. It wasn't only the attention to detail and the beautifull surroundings that made us feel so comfortable, add the professionalism and discretion of Monique,the owner, and we felt at home. The 'caretaker' was also incredibly helpful even on the weekends.

A real sense of escapism. Undoubtedly one of the best views to wake up to in the whole of Italy. Framed by the Sibillini mountains and the hilltop villages of Loro Piceno and Mogliano, one could not fail to be impressed by the beauty of the location for Azienda Mastrocola. Our apartment was well laid out and beautifully appointed, providing us with a shady and cool refuge from the warmth of the Le Marche sun and with the added benefit of being able to dine outside on the terrace and soak up those wonderful views.

With great access to fabulous areas to walk in the mountains and at Abbadia di Fiastra, this really is a walkers paradise. For the cultured amongst us, there seemed to be yet another stunning historic hilltop town around every bend and with the beaches only 30 minutes away it was easy for us to find something new to do every day.
