The old Roman city of Loro Piceno is less than 3km distance from Azienda Mastrocola.

Loro Piceno is an historic town. Home to numerous cultural and gastronomic festivals, it’s famous for Vino Cotto, a special wine that’s “cooked” to reach its peak of flavor and is drunk after dinner. Plus, you’re in the “Golden Triangle” of Le Marche that puts you in the middle of it all - 30 minutes to the beach and the same to hiking and skiing in the majestic Sibillini Mountains.

Loro Piceno boasts two of the region’s best restaurants, one of which is listed in the Michelin Guide. Market days and local festas abound in the town and nearby villages, with a good choice of shopping and café’s in town.
